Woburn, MA, June 18, 2004– Repromedix, the leading national laboratory specializing in advanced reproductive testing, has appointed Becky Waldman, R.N. as its Clinical Education Manager. Waldman is an infertility specialist with more than 15 years of experience in the field of reproductive medicine. She will develop and implement a comprehensive clinical training program on all aspects of the laboratory’s advanced diagnostic tests for Repromedix’ employees and clients.
Repromedix founder and CEO Craig Sockol said Waldman’s hiring would enhance the company’s educational mission. “Repromedix specializes in reproductive testing that is often on the cutting edge of science,” said Sockol. “Becky will play a critical role in educating our staff and medical clients about the clinical significance of our diagnostic tests, as well as indications for testing and treatment.”
Waldman began her nursing career as a Staff RN at Brigham and Women’s Hospital’s (Boston, MA) Obstetrics and Neonatal Intensive Care unit. In 1988 she joined Women’s Hospital (Indianapolis, IN,) where she remained for eight years. Since 1996, Waldman has been Director, Center for Reproductive Loss, at Women’s specialty Health Center in Indianapolis. During her tenure there, Waldman developed recurrent pregnancy loss protocols and developed the Donor Egg Recipient Program.
“I am excited to be joining Repromedix, whose advanced reproductive tests I have ordered for years to help find solutions for our patents,” said Waldman. “I look forward to educating physicians, nurses, and other clinicians on the most effective ways to use Repromedix’ tests for their most challenging cases,” she concluded.
