Some History
Repromedix is a leading infertility testing laboratory. The company was founded in 1994 by life sciences entrepreneur Craig Sockol. Craig had successfully sold a business that developed and manufactured kits for clinical lab testing and was deciding what to do next. When he and his wife experienced recurrent pregnancy loss (RPL)—and knowing a bit about the testing business—he sought help for their problems. They saw many physicians before finding one at Harvard Medical who had developed a new test for RPL.Craig's wife was tested, found positive, treated, and subsequently had two children. Craig thought their experience might be typical; that other couples might benefit as he and his wife had. He decided to license the test and founded Repromedix to offer it to physicians nationwide.
Since then, Repromedix has grown steadily, expanding the number, scope, and complexity of tests. Today, Repromedix offers almost 70 tests in reproductive medicine, most of which are esoteric and several are offered only by Repromedix.
